Level 3 Certificate for SENCOs in Early Years (PVI sector) (13 credits)

The Level 3 Certificate for SENCOs in Early Years is a professional, accredited programme for early years practitioners in the PVI sector, including childminders, who are already a SENCO or aspiring to become one. Combining evidence-based online learning with facilitated study sessions over 9 months, it builds the confidence and skills to place inclusive practice, co-production with families, and effective multi-agency working at the heart of everyday provision.

Level 3 Award for Supporting Children & Young People with Autism (6 credits)

The Level 3 Award in Supporting Children and Young People with Autism is a professional, accredited programme open to all staff working directly with children and young people across early years, primary, secondary and post-16 settings. Delivered over 9 months through evidence-based online learning and facilitated study sessions, it builds the knowledge and confidence to remove barriers to achievement, make reasonable adjustments, and develop positive, inclusive relationships with pupils, families and other professionals.

Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

The Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, delivered through ESF Apprenticeships (rated strong in every area at their 2026 Ofsted inspection), is designed for support staff with more than a year's experience who want to deepen their expertise in SEND and inclusion. Delivered over 18 months plus a final assessment month through online study, monthly tutor sessions and SEND masterclasses, it builds specialist knowledge in areas such as SEND, wellbeing and communication, growing confident, inclusive practice while opening up genuine career progression.
